Biology Teacher Education major is one of the four majors under the administration of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Education, Saigon University. With the high quality workforce and reputable learners majoring in Biology, along with state-of-the-art and synchronized facilities that are used for teaching and researching, Biology Teacher Education major sets its goals to become the leading institution in training biology teacher specialized in teaching, researching and life science, and meet the requirements of innovating educational reforms. supplying high quality teacher education, boosting the development of Ho Chi Minh City education and nationwide

At present, the education program is being taught by 07 lecturers (04 PhDs and 03 MAs) along with 05 visiting lecturers (04 PhDs and 01 MAs) who used to work at this major, retired or transfered to other majors. The proportion of graduates finding relevant jobs is high. Biology Teacher Education major is working on commencing a master’s degree program in the near future.
